This unique marble features an implosion of pure bismuth metal blobs.  Incorporating bismuth into borosilicate in this way is a proprietary technique I have been developing for years, and rarely utilize in pieces due to the hit-or-miss style risk involved in the process.   This orb is the first of 2023 and was featured in the Marbles in the Mountains show at Level 42 Gallery in Asheville, NC in April 2023.
